Even the $ 60 motel rooms will be three times as much or more. Airlines are all expensive for any holiday. The hotels on the strip are never cheap. Of course I don't know what you consider cheap. Is $300 or $400 a night cheap? I don't think so. When I go I stay at Sunset station or The Fiesta in Henderson. They are 15min. from the strip and are really nice hotel/casinos. I stay off the strip every year about 25 miles from it. I live here. Stay NEAR the strip take a taxi in and out. Even if you stay on the strip, you're prolly not going to use your room you'll be down ON the strip. Unless you plan to stay in and party. But then what's the point of being on the strip if you're staying in the room? know what I mean? Good luck be safe here and be cool when you're here. It's easy to have a great time. But Metro does not play. If you fight or break something you'll get arrested post haste. Book early, Southwest has the best prices. Hotels are going to be spendy.
