Look at the link below to the monorail stops and pick on of those hotels to stay at. Don't stay too close to the convention center, it is super busy around that area and hard to get a cab. The convention center is right next to it (think it might be technically the closest to it), you have the monorail available (there's a station at the hilton), and uhhh STAR TREK RIDES!!!! lol. idk, I'm a trekkie so it persuaded me the first time to stay at the hotel but i think regardless it's a good choice because of the above listed and: it's situated to the side of the strip but u can get there easy and its close to the aiport. decent places to eat and play slots and all that good stuff. not as good as some of the other hotels on the strip but that'll give u a reason to go to the strip after ur business is done. =) have a good time!!! I'm still kind of mad at them for removing the Star Trek Experience and Quark's Bar, but they have some nice rooms. But honestly, the monorail has a stop at the Convention Center, so you could theoretically stay at any hotel on the strip, and still be only a few minutes away from the convention center. A monorail pass is $5 each way or (currently) $9 all day. If you would like to stay in the same hotel as a monorail station, here are the hotels that the monorail stops at...
