Make sure you have comfortable shoes, and have differnt outfits for day and night!

The days are dry and hot, and the nights are freezing cold.

Just another tip my husband and I do when we visit Vegas. We bring a small collapsible thermal insulated cooler from home (holds about 6 water bottles) to keep in our rental car and purchase water bottles from a local store. Then when we set out for a day in the car or wherever we use some ice from the hotel ice machine to fill the cooler and take it with us. It really helps keep you hydrated and is a low-cost option for you. Hope you have fun!

Vegas is in the middle of Mohave Desert and HOT. Wear comfortable walking shoes, but tennis shoes for sure at Canyon. Shorts or crops are great, with nice top. Have a light sweater because you might get chill at night or in hotel casino. Have a purse that you wear over the shoulder or around the waste (never set your purse down never). Dress is relaxes everywhere except night clubs and a few restaurants.

Your trip to Hoover is one day, Grand Canyon a second lonnnnnng day.

Good advice so far. If you plan on dining at any upscale restaurants the dress code is "business casual" for me that means a polo shirt and blazer over khaki trousers and leather shoes.

If your hotel has a pool, a swim suit and a something to cover up with while you walk to and from the pool. Don't for get sandals or flip-flops because the hard surfaces by the pool area get pretty hot in the direct sun.

My wife often brings a light sweater because some of the air conditioning in the casinos, shows, lounges and restaurants can be pretty cold. You do not need an awful lot of clothing and you can purchase a lot of great stuff in Vegas. So, you may as well wear it, there.

Hope you have a blast!

Whatever you are comfortable in. But comfortable shoes are a must. Don't forget sunscreen. Everything is pretty casual. If you are planning some 4-5 star restaurants you will want to make reservations now and ask them what the dress code is. Some will require jackets for men and something along the line of cocktail dress for women.

Just remember if you are walking on the strip to see the many neat things the casinos offer (shops, attractions, art, etc..) they are always much closer then it appears.

June is my favorite time in LV. But it's also VERY hot. Carry bottled water with you. About the only place to set and cool off is in a casino at a slot machine or table.

For walking around Vegas I would bring a nice dressy shirt, a nice dark pair of jeans and cute BUT comfortable shoes. You will do a lot of walking in Vegas and heels are killer!! I usually wear a pair of cute half boots that are comfortable!!
