How much money should I take to Vegas for alcohol?

In short - a lot. If you want to go to nice clubs and bars, you can easily spend 8, 10, or 12 dollars a drink. If you want to go to casual places, assume 4 -6 bucks per drink.

Thats an interesting question– because it can vary by alot.
If you gamble alot you can probably go the whole time without even paying for a drink. Between free drink tickets, and free table drinks.
But if you go to Vegas to hit the clubs, then be prepared to shell out ridiculous amounts of money on overpriced 10$ drinks.

Well I might suggest that you do gamble! You might actually SAVE money that way!
If you are going out to the clubs, you will end up spending OVER 10.00 per drink! I suggest that you check out hot Las Vegas clubs
If you are gambling at the tables you will drink for free!
So it depends on how many drinks you and your girl needs in a night. If you each drink a minimum of 4 drinks each at a club that is about 100.00 you are looking at including tips.
So that is just for one night. So ya. If I were you I would plan on spending 400.00 on drinks and club entrance fees, maybe more.
I got a top shelf drink at LAX that cost me 25.00

I’m having a hard time figuring out why you want to come to Vegas at all if you don’t gamble and don’t want to see the shows. But I digress. Drinks can get very expensive or very cheap depending on where you are. For instance in the clubs drinks can be $10 or more each but down the Strip at Slots o Fun you can get a Corona for a buck. Or you can go down to the liquor store and buy a bunch of booze and take it back to your room and get soused.
Or like a previous poster said, you could sit down at a slot machine and feed it one coin slowly at a time and get drinks for free all day and all night.
At any rate, for whatever reason you want to come to Vegas, have fun while you’re here and at least go out and enjoy the free shows like the Sirens of TI, the Bellagio fountains, the statues at Caesar’s Forum Shops, and the volcano at the Mirage. You could also go downtown and get one of those drinks in the big plastic cups that you hang around your neck and watch the show at the Fremont Street Experience.

A good lot as it can be pretty expensive in Vegas approx $8-$12 per drink but is free if you do gamble or at least look like you are putting money into the slot machines

You can buy drinks at the grocery store here for a nice cheap price - but I would bring a lot of money if you only want to drink at the casino, because those are expensive.
