How can i become a las vegas swat officer?

I am a US Marine Grunt, from Las Vegas. I am going on my 2nd deployment to Iraq. I will be getting out of the marine corps after this deployment. My dream is to come back home and go on lvmpd. I want to know what i have to do to become a swat officer. Any schooling on my own. Or experience that i should get, that will help me fulfill my dream?

   you need to become a police officer in the department you want to work. Once you finish with your training, probation, etc, apply for SWAT/SRT/etc and go from there.
   Keep physically fit and stay current with your shooting- pistol and rifle.

   it takes a while, ugotta become a police officer too and they would probably bump you up higher since ur a lready a marine and u have training form b4
