A dollar is customary, more if you're winning and if you get good service. The more you tip, the quicker she will return and the better/stronger your drink will be. And please stay at your machine or table until you get your drink, I don't know about other waitresses, but most won't go searching for you. Usually when you order you will get the stuff 'off the gun' unless you request a specific alcohol. For fruity drinks, I'd recommend a Malibu Baybreeze (Malibu rum, pineapple and cranberry juice), Sex on the Beach (vodka, peach schnapps, cranberry, and OJ), Cape Cod (vodka and cranberry), or Screwdriver (vodka and OJ). Cape Cods and Screwdriver aren't really fruity drinks per se, but they do have fruit juices in them. When people would ask me for a fruity drink, I would usually stick to the Sex on the Beach, Mai Tai or anything with Malibu rum.

You tip when you get the drink $1. She depends on tips for her minimum wage income.

A good fruity drink is any juice with vodka, like a Greyhouse which is vodka and grapefruit. BTW no drink given by the cocktail when you are drinking is strong

You tip when you receive your drink. Once you place your order, do not move away from that area! (That's how they find you to give you your drink - the waitresses are NOT going to go hunting for you.) I also tip more on my first round (anywhere from $2 to $5 a drink instead of the customary $1 - depending on how long I'm playing) and I tip more if I'm winning.

As far as a fruity drink - strawberry daiquiri's are sweet and not strong, but they're frozen and kinda big. I like a Malibu Baybreeze - it's Malibu coconut rum (which is SO NOT strong) pineapple and cranberry juice.

Tip when they come back. Make is larger at first so they keep coming back and towards the end of your night, tip with 1's. Good drink...try cranberry and vodka with lots of ice. Or try 7up and vodka. Stick with clearer liquors and you should be OK and just pace yourself. One note though, at most casinos, you are NOT going to get top shelf liquor on the casino floor so pace yourself accordingly. The lower on the shelf, the higher potential for a nasty hangover the next day due to their lower filtering. Good Luck

It's a good idea to tip $1 per round per drink. They work hard and pretty much live off of tips.

I tip them $1 (at least) after they bring me my rum and coke. The first time I sit at a table, I sometimes tip when I order, too, so that they remember me and keep on bringing the drinks. I tip another $1 each time they bring me a drink.

hmmm... fruity and not too strong. Maybe a Daiquiri or a Margarita? I'm guessing here... I like my rum and cokes at the blackjack/craps tables.

Hope this helps!
Good luck,
Mike

You tip them when they bring you the drink. You give a good tip and they will hang around you more.

I usually keep my drink order to straight bourbon so I don't know much about fruity drinks, LOL.
