It depends on the casino, but the bigger casinos on the strip would be open.

Every casino is open here every day, every minute of the year including Christmas. Actually Christmas day is very busy here. Then entire strip is open including all the stores in the hotels and shopping areas. Last Christmas I went to the strip and it was so packed you could barely get around.

Yes yes yes……Vegas is open 24/7 365 days a year
All casinos are open and most of the shops in their hotel
See a cirque show - there are six but the best are Mystere and Love. Or see Phantom of the Opera OR Jersey Boys
Tale a corner a day and just wander and look and enjoy. The three main corners
NYNY, Monte Carlo, MGM Grand, Tropicana, Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay
Circus Circus, Bellagio, Paris, Ballys, Bills, Flamingo
Wynn, Treasure Island, Mirage, Venetian, Palazzo and Fashion Show Mall
Enjoy at least one leisurely buffet and sleep in late

Las vegas is “open” all year long. Christmas and New years is the most dangerous time of the year over there.

Vegas is the city, that “NEVER” sleeps. All the casinos will be open, as well as all the restaurants and buffets inside. Pack a good pair of walking shoes, your both be needing them.

Oh yes, they are open 24/7. Las Vegas is notorious for being the city that never sleeps.
Here’s a few casinos you should try visiting:
Treasure Island Hotel & Casino
3300 S Las Vegas Blvd
(702) 894-7111
One reviewer mentioned, “Great Value for High Quality Resort on the Strip… Treasure Island (or “TI”) offers the best prices of any AAA Four Diamond property on the Strip for rooms, dining and entertainment.”
Texas StationGambling Hall & Hotel
2101 Texas Star Ln North Las Vegas, NV
(702) 631-1000
A reviewer of this casino said this, “…my first time visiting the Texas Station Casino and I was there again in January 2008. I will always visit when ever I am in Las Vegas.”
Hope that helps!
